At Jesus Vegans Fellowship we aspire to create an ever stronger spiritual, Christ-centered, biblically based foundation upon which to build our Event Center. Thus it is important to build a church where people can feel both encouraged and supported in their walk with Jesus, and their activism.

We plan to create an environment that utilizes small group studies, a variety of worship styles and other activities to help create a sense of belonging, that builds trust and encourages authenticity and accountability.

Our values serve as guidelines to help us build a sense of healthy community. We study how to minimize conflict and maximize cooperation and joy so they will know we are Christians by our love.

What kind of  Services do you have?

We plan on having an online church We are still figuring out the format and in the process of finding a platform.

In August 2017 at the Jesus Vegans Event Center, we are hosting study circle using the book "Your Best Life in Jesus' Easy Yoke" by Bill Gaultiere.  We will learn spiritual practices that will help us to deepen our connection to God.

How does veganism fit into this?

Integrating 'creation care' and veganism as a fundamental part of our spiritual walk. We host vegan potlucks and encourage people to adopt a plant based diet.

We pray and use a multitude of other Christ-centered spiritual practices to help us to draw closer to our Creator and His creation.

What are your beliefs?

We adopted our beliefs from Sarx, a Christian animal welfare organization in the United Kingdom. We practice the nonviolent teachings of Jesus similar to the Anabaptist tradition, with an emphasis on the idea that our treatment of animals should not include violence.

-We believe in the Holy Trinity: The Father, Jesus Christ His Son and the Holy Spirit who exist as one God now and forever as revealed in Holy Scripture.

-We believe that the earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it and that all creatures are made and loved by God.

-We believe humanity is called to exercise Godly and Biblical dominion over creation should which model Christ’s Lordship through service and the moral priority of the weak and innocent.

-We believe that, as Disciples of Christ, we have a duty, as Good Shepherds, to exercise compassion, care, mercy and, above all, love to all creatures.

-We believe in living in anticipation of God’s Kingdom Come through working towards the eradication of animal suffering.

-We believe that God so loved the world, that he sent his Son, the logos (Word), the beginning and end of all things, to take on sarx (flesh) to redeem the whole of the created order and reconcile all things to himself.

-We believe where there is any suffering in the world, there too is the suffering presence of our crucified Lord.

-We believe to abuse creation is to disregard the Creator.
